A TOOL FOR PEOPLE TO SEE is a self-published magazine that reimagines the city beyond productivity and efficiency, instead inviting play, pause, and connection. Built from generative prompts (FOR PEOPLE... / TO SEE... / IN...), the first issue shifts perspectives on public space. Printed in small run and distributed by hand, the series encourages readers to slow down, notice their surroundings, and engage in unexpected ways.

This book was developed in collaboration with the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship, who approached me to design
a publication addressing the common struggles faced by startup founders. ECE conducted a survey to gather insights into everyday frustrations within the entrepreneurial journey. Based on the collected responses, I created a series of task-based exercises with a playful, humorous tone— making light of the frustrations founders face and turning them into something absurd, creative, or just fun to mess with.

I was responsible for the book design and illustrations, which
I developed using a cut-out collage technique. The tone is humorous and approachable, with illustrations that playfully support the exercises.

The book was a great opportunity to explore how the physical properties of paper—folds, cuts, can turn a flat surface into a dimensional tool for playful engagement.

Many pages invite the reader to manipulate the paper by folding, tearing, or cutting—so that the book itself becomes an interactive space for experimentation.
